<p>QXO is the fastest growing publicly traded distributor of building products in North America. The company is executing its strategy to become the tech-enabled leader in the $800 billion building products distribution industry and generate outsized value for its shareholders. QXO expects to achieve its target of $50 billion in annual revenues within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Drive sustained new business growth by prospecting, identifying, and securing new customer opportunities across the assigned territory. </li><li>Sell exterior building products, including roofing, siding, windows, and waterproofing materials, to contractors, builders, and commercial customers. </li><li>Meet or exceed assigned sales, margin, and expectations for up to approximately 20-30 new customer wins annually through disciplined pipeline and opportunity management. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, influencers, and industry partners to expand market presence. </li><li>Conduct in-depth, in-person sales calls, jobsite visits, and customer meetings to assess needs and position value-based solutions. </li><li>Navigate more complex sales cycles, including larger opportunities, multi-location customers, and competitive environments. </li><li>Partner closely with branch operations, supply chain, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new customers. </li><li>Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activity, opportunities, and pipeline in Salesforce or other CRM tools. </li><li>Proactively analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. </li><li>Execute effective handoffs of newly secured accounts to Account Executives, ensuring continuity and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Serve as a role model for prospecting discipline, professionalism, and sales execution within the field. </li><li>Continue to deepen product knowledge, technical expertise, and consultative selling skills. </li><li>Travel extensively within the assigned market to pursue and close new business opportunities. </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>3-7 years of successful outside sales or business development experience, with a proven track record of new customer acquisition. </li><li>Strong experience in construction, building materials, wholesale distribution, or a related industry preferred. </li><li>Proven success navigating complex sales cycles and closing higher-value opportunities. </li><li>Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling skills. </li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities. </li><li>High comfort level with technology, including CRM tools, mobile devices, and digital sales resources. </li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory. </li></ul> <p>What you'll earn</p> <p>401(k) with employer match</p> <p>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</p> <p>PTO, company holidays, and parental leave</p> <p>Paid training and certifications</p> <p>Legal assistance and identity protection</p> <p>Pet insurance</p> <p>Employee assistance program (EAP)</p> <p>About the company</p> <p>QXO is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing, and complementary building products in the United States.
