If you have strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills APPLY NOW!</p> <p>The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors, consultants and partners in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.</p> <p>Hybrid - typically onsite one week per month, primarily at the Quantum building in Pittsburgh or the Southgate building in Harrisburg. As we approach go-live, there may be additional activities that require travel to other sites across our footprint.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support projects relative to the UPMC Bridges Epic Implementation. </li><li>Promote IT, Epic and operational collaboration with councils, workgroups, and go-live activities. </li><li>Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including summaries, presentations, and executive reports. </li><li>Client Relationships: Understands project objectives, and business value, from the user's point of view. Is customer focused. Builds trusted relationships with users. </li><li>Project Planning and Management: Experienced in planning and managing project scope, schedules, resources, budget, issues, and risks. Understands need and value of attention to detail. Proactively identifies and addresses project risks. Utilizes change management to control scope and communicate scope changes. Tracks and reports project progress and forecast trends. </li><li>Team Leadership/Development: Ability to organize, manage, and lead the project team to success. Supports project team members and colleagues. Build strong relationships with colleagues and IT partners. Skillfully handles situations and creates positive outcomes. Demonstrates self-awareness. Provides mentoring and support to others in areas of expertise. </li><li>Relevant Technical/Business Knowledge: Experience in a similar technical/industry. Demonstrates financial awareness. Working knowledge of analytical and problem-solving techniques and tools. </li><li>Process Oriented: Utilizes organizational and PMO processes and standards to provide consistent and excellent project management services. Understands the need and value to continually define and/or improve processes. </li><li>*Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. </li><li>*Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with 2+ years professional experience in a project implementation capacity. </li><li>PMP, PgMP, or other related certification preferred. </li><li>OR High school diploma and 6+ years of professional experience in a project implementation capacity.
