We seek a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse who will serve as a vital member of our school community.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including managing chronic conditions, injuries, and acute illnesses. </li><li>Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with special medical needs. </li><li>Administer medications and treatments in accordance with medical and legal guidelines. </li><li>Conduct screenings and health assessments for vision, hearing, and other health concerns. </li><li>Promote health education and wellness activities for students, staff, and families. </li><li>Collaborate with school administrators, counselors, and parents to support student well-being. </li><li>Ensure compliance with state and district health regulations, including communicable disease protocols. </li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential health records. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio. </li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. </li><li>Valid Ohio Department of Education School Nurse License or ability to obtain licensure. </li><li>CPR and First Aid certification required. </li><li>Knowledge of state and federal health regulations related to school health services. </li><li>Experience in pediatric or community health nursing preferred. </li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. </li><li>Experience working in a multicultural setting is preferred. </li><li>Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Our Team?</p> <ul> <li>Opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive educational environment. </li><li>Meaningful impact on the health and well-being of students. </li><li>Professional development opportunities and supportive leadership. </li></ul>
