Ensure a safe, healthy, and secure environment for children. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the classroom.</p> <p>SALARY: $14.81 per hour (minimum wage), approximately 10 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday. 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a School District 27J High School Student. Must be at least 16 years of age.</p> <p>Positions available at Brantner, Discovery, Reunion, and Southlawn</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the supervision of school age children between the ages of 5 years and 13 years of age. </li><li>Assist in the supervision of children and help implement prepared materials/activities for daily small group and large group activities in a child care environment which may include field trips. </li><li>Help ensure the safety and security of children. </li><li>Help prepare instructional materials for daily activities. </li><li>Help prepare and provide nutritional snacks. </li><li>Read books to the class daily. </li><li>Clean and maintain the safety of the classroom. </li><li>Assist with craft projects. </li><li>Help supervise and organize games for the children. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience working with children preferred.</p> <p>Links to Important Job Information:</p> <p>Benefits Information</p> <p>Salary Schedules</p> <p>Leaves Information</p> <p>Non-Discrimination Notice</p> <p>All future correspondence will be handled via the email address you provided in your online application.
