Our site, Albéa Shelbyville is specialized in Laminate Tubes for Oral, Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Markets.</p> <p>Scope</p> <p>To keep the production lines operating according to Production, Quality, EHS, Spoilage, Efficiency, and Customer Standards. As well as train the local team to improve the skill level of the department.</p> <p>Main activities</p> <ul> <li>Set the machine per job and production plan </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on molds and molding lines. </li><li>Review specifications and monitor production of molded parts to ensure compliance with customer requirements </li><li>Monitor operation of production equipment to ensure efficiency </li><li>Operate machines given design conditions and process parameters </li><li>Ensure system compliance </li><li>Ensure all inputs of raw materials per production plan </li><li>Evaluate process conditions and modify for improvements in quality or efficiency. </li><li>Troubleshoot issues that arise daily. </li><li>Continuous improvement of production lines - improve efficiencies and reduce waste </li><li>Adherence to production targets while maintaining quality standards </li><li>Support mold or tooling changes as needed. </li><li>Train new employees on production machinery </li><li>Keep area and equipment neat and organized as per a 5S environment </li><li>Adhere to all Company policies and procedures </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Accountability including KPIs</p> <ul> <li>All mold PM's are properly completed and documented per scheduled time frame. </li><li>Cycle time attainment is consistently met and monitored. </li><li>Cavitation is consistently monitored and documented. </li><li>Process conditions monitored daily. </li></ul> <p>Profile (Experience & qualifications)</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>6 years production experience in and around processing of injection molding machines </li><li>Ability to changeover tooling </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot machinery </li><li>Ability to train employees on how to operate specialized machinery </li><li>Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through work experience or vocational training </li><li>Basic math skills and knowledge of data collection methods </li><li>Ability to work overtime or non-regular hours as necessary </li><li>Willingness to adhere to Company safety rules and requirements </li><li>Ability to work well within a Team Environment </li><li>Manual dexterity, ability to maintain brisk pace of production </li></ul>
