Our team thrives in a fast-paced, dispatch-driven environment, working collaboratively to grow our business while maintaining exceptional service.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new customers. The BDR will work closely with dispatch, operations, and account managers to expand our customer base while ensuring a smooth transition of new clients to our account management team. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy logistics environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>New Business Development</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and prospect potential customers needing open-deck LTL freight services.</p> </li><li> <p>Build relationships with decision-makers in industries requiring Open Deck transportation solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct outbound calls, emails, and in-person meetings to generate new business.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop customized transportation solutions to meet client needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration with Dispatch & Operations</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with dispatch to ensure alignment between sales efforts and available capacity.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay informed about carrier capabilities and lane availability.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Customer Transition & Account Growth</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with the Account Management team from the first shipment to ensure a seamless operational flow and strong customer experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee Existing Customer Accounts with quarterly outreach ensuring service excellence and addressing any early concerns.</p> </li><li> <p>Transition new accounts to the Account Management team once business is established.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Account Managers to identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or transportation business development. </li><li>Proven track record of generating and closing new business in a B2B environment. </li><li>Strong understanding of freight brokerage operations, particularly in open-deck LTL services. (preferred) </li><li>Ability to thrive in a dispatch-driven environment with a team-oriented mindset. </li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. </li><li>Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management. </li></ul>
