<p>ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS</p> <ul> <li>Keep clean & orderly work stations; including machines and equipment by maintaining a high level of Housekeeping and 5S of assigned lines and designated areas. </li><li>Follow all safety policies and procedures, including LOTO and GMP Practices to meet company standards. </li><li>Recognize and correct safety hazards as they are identified and notify the appropriate personnel. </li><li>Monitor machines for mechanical issues by visual and auditory inspection. </li><li>Take corrective action and assist in problem solving for machine issues and notify the appropriate personnel. </li><li>Obtain & ensure all correct stock and materials are used at all times and located by machine. </li><li>Perform machine line setup, lineout, and troubleshooting for production runs. </li><li>Perform machinery start up and shut downs. </li><li>Develop machine set-up parameters and heat profiles for production runs. </li><li>Perform in-process inspection of parts and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance and conformance. </li><li>Recognize product defects and make adjustments to equipment as necessary. </li><li>Review and maintain required logs, check sheets, inspection sheets, and work orders. </li><li>Assist in overall maintenance of machines & equipment including minor repairs. </li><li>Complete preventative maintenance requirements on machines following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs as necessary. </li><li>Calculate dimension, size, shape, and tolerance of tooling and equipment based on specification and monitor product quality by use of visual inspection and other quality and dimensional measuring tools. </li><li>Ensure all materials, tooling, and master tooling is properly labeled, segregated and/or returned pre- and post-production. </li><li>Perform pre- and post- production Tool inspections and preparations, tool install, and tool removals. </li><li>Maintain machine efficiency according to department standards to achieve performance rate goals. </li><li>Maintain and manage supply inventory. </li><li>Communicate job status and production issues to next shift Process Technicians, Lead, and/or Supervisor. </li><li>Participate in Lean Manufacturing Events as required. </li><li>Assist in on-the-job training and coaching of team members and support other machine operators as needed. </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties as Needed:</p> <ul> <li>Gather packing supplies & build cartons for assigned lines. </li><li>Sort & pack finished product into specified containers (bags, cartons, etc.…) </li><li>Stack finished cartons on skids in proper pattern. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Previous Machine Operator experience preferred </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES</p> <ul> <li>Exemplify Rohrer's Core Values: </li><li>Ability to analyze data and address issues proactively. </li><li>Ability to be on feet majority of the day. </li><li>Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions. </li><li>Ability to see data at close range. </li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects by hand or use of pallet jack (average 75 lbs.). </li><li>Ability to drive a fork truck and pass certification. </li><li>Excellent organization, communication, and comprehension skills. </li><li>Knowledge of raw materials, quality control, cost, and other techniques for maximizing production efficiencies and distribution of goods. </li><li>Mechanical & mathematical aptitude. </li><li>Understanding of safety practices and precautions. </li><li>Strong leadership ability. </li></ul> <p>SCHEDULE</p> <ul> <li>2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday </li></ul> <p>Compensation for this position can be up to $30.00/hr.
