Orange County Government is committed to providing equal opportunity in employment and services to all individuals.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>General Functions:</p> <p>The Management Coordinator is an integral part of the management team, playing the key role in coordinating the daily operation of the assigned maintenance district. Performs a variety of duties related to planning, organizing and coordinating, daily building, and maintenance activities. Coordinates repair and preventive maintenance of various County buildings, facilities, and systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, masonry, life safety, and related mechanical tasks. Provides direction and supervision to staff that provide building services and maintenance</p> <p>Work is performed with independent judgment under the general supervision of the District Maintenance Supervisor.</p> <p>Representative Duties/Assignments:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates and supervises trades staff and vendor services that provide repairs and maintenance of equipment, building systems, and refurbishment, as required. </li><li>Coordinates the building preventive maintenance program, assists with maintaining work records including schedules, receipts, safety & compliance reports, and maintenance logs. </li><li>Provides weekly and/or monthly facility and key performance indicator status reports. </li><li>Coordinates maintenance work with departments/divisions to minimize impact on building operations and customers. </li><li>Responds to and resolves emergency work requests regarding malfunctioning equipment related to but not limited to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and structural in county facilities. </li><li>Assists with monitoring contract services to ensure quality standards are met and contract compliance. </li><li>Assists with the planning, coordinating, and implementing of emergency response. </li><li>Assists with the management of the Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) system, including receiving work requests, assessing existing conditions, assigning resources, entering system data, and providing overall system administration for the district. </li><li>Assures all assigned vehicles and equipment are properly serviced, maintained, and accounted for. </li><li>Assists with the annual budget process including identifying capital improvement projects, major operational budget items and the monitoring of district expenditures. </li><li>Assumes responsibility for the maintenance district in the absence of the District Maintenance Supervisor. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Associate's degree from an accredited institution and five (5) years of facilities management experience to include two (2) years of supervisory experience.
