<p>Join the Gaco team, a trusted name in building envelope solutions with a heritage dating back to 1955.</p> <p>We're seeking a Maintenance Technician A who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.</p> <p>Starting hourly wage: $44.35</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm - 11:30pm</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician position supports the plant by checking, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician "A" is in charge of performing tasks to ensure the safety, reliability and efficiency of all manufacturing and facility assets.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH</p> <ul> <li>Perform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine whether failures or issues are present and determine how soon the corrections/adjustments may need to be made. </li><li>Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goals in mind. </li><li>Troubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actions. </li><li>Identify failed components and determine necessary replacement parts. </li><li>Interact directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional manner. </li><li>Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions, identify parts that belong to machines, and fully document work performed. </li><li>Comply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operations. </li><li>Locate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check-out processes. </li><li>Maintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in a organized manner so that materials can be accessed quickly and reliably. </li><li>Follow all required procedures as required by role. </li></ul> <p>WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li><li>Five or more years' experience in an industrial environment as a maintenance employee performing Preventive (planned) and Corrective (unplanned) Maintenance </li><li>Knowledge of and experience working in all the following areas: </li></ul> <p>Mechanical</p> <ul> <li>Power Transmission - chains, belts, gearboxes, bearings, brakes, couplings, etc. </li><li>Lubrication - oils, greases, storage and handling, application, etc. </li><li>Hydraulics & Pneumatics - valves, actuators, compressors and pumps, piping and tubing, etc. </li></ul> <p>Electrical</p> <ul> <li>DC Circuits - relays, contactors, power supplies, etc. </li><li>AC Circuits (120V to 480V) - motors, drives, transformers, etc. </li><li>Process Control </li><li>Industrial Automation - robotics, PID, machine control, etc. </li><li>PLCs & Networking - communication, signals, I/O, LANs, etc. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <p>Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
