<p>Farm Research Technician</p> <p>This is a permanent part-time position working with young calves. Duties include: feeding of milk replacer and starter, medical evaluation and treatment of animals, administering vaccinations, castrating, dehorning, data collection, bedding and cleaning pens, operating a skid steer, power washing, and other duties as assigned. Some time will also be spent working at the Dairy where you will support dairy production by collecting saleable, high-quality milk from dairy cows, measuring and recording milk weights, and collecting required milk samples for analysis, along with other duties. Employees will be required to be fitted for a half-mask respirator.</p> <p>Shifts: 5am-1:30pm and 9am-5:30pm.</p> <p>Must be available every other weekend and every other holiday.</p> <p>Experience-Education (Required): High school diploma or GED</p> <p>Competencies-Skills (Required): Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.</p> <p>Competencies-Skills (Preferred): Animal care experience, livestock preferred.</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $17.88</p> <p>About Land O'Lakes, Inc.</p> <p>Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
