<p>This is an 18-month temporary assignment with full benefit eligibility.</p> <p>Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week</p> <p>Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Hybrid (Onsite 6 Days/Month)</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Payroll Specialist completes the processing of payroll cycles, including detailed knowledge of the payroll system, biweekly and supplemental payroll cycles.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with completing the processing of payroll cycles, including detailed knowledge of the payroll system, biweekly and supplemental payroll cycles. </li><li>Works with the Time Keeping (Kronos/UKG) System Administrator to troubleshoot, research and test, the automated time and attendance system. </li><li>Address problems as they relate to payroll processes and procedures. </li><li>Answers questions and assists in resolving time keeping and payroll issues. </li><li>Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll. </li><li>Answer and apply wage garnishments. </li><li>Other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Technical Expertise:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in processing payroll of 500+ employees is preferred. </li><li>Experience in accounting is preferred. </li><li>Experience with payroll and timekeeping software required; Kronos timekeeping and Infor payroll systems is preferred. </li><li>Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred. </li><li>Experience in healthcare is preferred. </li><li>Critical thinking and analytical skills required. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Working with integrated Payroll software is required. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
