<p>EquipmentShare is Hiring an Economic Development Incentives Coordinator</p> <p>EquipmentShare is looking for an Economic Incentives Coordinator to support our strategic efforts in expanding our footprint through skillful negotiation and capture of incentives. This role is pivotal in supporting economic development projects and forging sustainable, durable relationships with political, economic development, and community stakeholders nationwide. This role can be hybrid.</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities: None</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Project Coordination in Economic Development: Support initiatives to identify and secure economic incentives to maintain sustainable business growth. </li><li>Strategic Negotiation and Partnership Development: Negotiate incentives and collaborate with local governments and economic development agencies to foster environments conducive to mutual growth. </li><li>Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws and regulations while keeping leadership informed through regular, detailed reports on project status and stakeholder engagements. </li><li>Administrative Streamlining: Develop and implement efficient workflows for incentive administration to reduce resource requirements while managing application processes and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of economic incentives, public policy, and regulatory environments. </li><li>Strong ability to establish, grow, and maintain impactful relationships with key external stakeholders. </li><li>Exceptional negotiation, communication, and project management skills. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or related field; Master's preferred. </li><li>At least 4 years of experience in economic development, public policy, or related fields, with proven success in leading development projects and negotiating with governmental bodies. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to sit at a desk while looking at a computer for long periods of time. </li><li>Must have a valid drivers license. </li><li>Must be able to travel up to 50% with overnight travel required. </li></ul> <p>Why We're a Better Place to Work:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary. </li><li>Medical, Dental and Vision coverage for full-time employees. </li><li>401(k) and company match. </li><li>Generous paid time off (PTO) plus company paid holidays. </li><li>Stocked break-room and full kitchen, chef prepared meals daily (breakfast and lunch). </li><li>State of the art onsite gym (Corporate HQ) with instructor led-courses/Gym stipend for remote employees. </li><li>Seasonal and year round wellness challenges. </li><li>Company sponsored events (annual family gatherings, happy hours and more). </li><li>Volunteering and local charity initiatives that help you nurture and grow the communities you call home.
