<p>Close All</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The University of Colorado, Boulder's Health and Wellness Services team is accepting applications for a Temporary Massage Therapist! The Massage Therapist will deliver comprehensive massage therapy services to the CU Boulder campus community, promoting physical health, stress reduction, and overall well-being.</p> <p>CU Boulder is dedicated to supporting the success and wellness of our students, faculty, and staff, and this position is part of a multidisciplinary team serving these communities. The role emphasizes integrative care and contributes to a supportive, inclusive campus environment.</p> <p>The schedule for this position will be Mondays through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The anticipated length of this appointment will be for the Spring semester, ending May 2, 2026.</p> <p>Scope of Practice</p> <ul> <li>Deliver therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual needs </li><li>Apply a variety of massage techniques to address musculoskeletal concerns, relaxation, and injury recovery </li><li>Educate clients on self-care practices and wellness strategies </li><li>Collaborate with other Medical Services and Orthopedic and Integrative care providers to ensure integrated support </li></ul> <p>CU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment. The Medical Clinic provides a wide range of health care services for students including: primary care for illnesses and injuries, as well as chronic conditions, physicals, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, allergy shots, vaccinations, travel health care, and concussion care.</p> <p>What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be</p> <p>Patient Care:</p> <ul> <li>Perform massage therapist evaluations and treatments through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience </li><li>Educate patients on present condition(s) and teach preventative aspects of self-care to facilitate and maintain a higher level of wellness </li><li>Complete accurate and timely EHR documentation and charges for all patient </li><li>Communicate, collaborate, and refer to other health care providers (internal and external) </li><li>Understanding and application of universal precautions with patient care </li><li>Ability to provide exceptional massage therapy and patient service </li><li>Time management awareness </li><li>Participate in Health & Well-Being community activities </li><li>Attend and participate in Medical Services department meetings </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Attend and participate in departmental and organizational meetings </li><li>Assist with ancillary projects and outreach events to promote health and wellness services </li><li>Support the mission of CU Boulder Health and Well-Being Services through community engagement and collaboration </li></ul> <p>What You Should Know</p> <ul> <li>The Massage Therapist provider will hold a temporary appointment for the Spring Semester to assess student and staff demand for services, with the potential to transition into a more permanent role based on demonstrated need </li><li>Workdays: Mondays through Friday based on need and availability </li><li>Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (aligned with Medical Services' standard hours) </li><li>Calendar: Schedule will follow the official university academic calendar, including holidays and breaks </li><li>Length of appointment: Appointment is anticipated to last through the spring semester with a break during the summer; to resume in the Fall semester potentially as a permanent University Staff position </li><li>This arrangement provides consistent availability twice per week while allowing flexibility for future expansion should demand warrant a permanent position </li><li>Eligible for clinical privileges as determined by Medical Services Credentialing & Privileging </li></ul> <p>What We Can Offer</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00 per hour.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.</p> <p>Be Statements</p> <p>Be effective.
