<p>This posting will be used to create a pool of applicants for positions that may become available for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>SALARY (Non negotiatable)</p> <p>$20,524 - $27,301 with benefits package</p> <p>Paygrade 5</p> <p>HOURS:</p> <p>10 months, 35 hours, 182 days</p> <p>Bargaining Unit: This position is part of the non-supervisory support services bargaining unit</p> <p>FLSA: Non exempt</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>Certified as a CNA in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing.</p> <p>Current CPR certification.</p> <p>2 years' experience as a CNA in pediatric or adolescent health care is preferred.</p> <p>Position requires training in Certified Medication Technician School Health within six months of employment.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Under the direction of the school RN:</p> <p>Provide routine care for minor and acute illnesses and chronic disorders.</p> <p>Provide immediate care for accidents and injuries ranging from minor to life threatening.</p> <p>Assist with hearing and vision screenings in assigned schools as well as other schools upon request.</p> <p>Assist with prevention and control of communicable diseases.</p> <p>Administer and record medications and specific treatments as ordered by physician. Observe for medication/treatment side effects and report to school nurse.</p> <p>Assist in managing lice control efforts.</p> <p>Assist with record keeping, report preparation, and inventory of health supplies.</p> <p>Other job-related duties as assigned.</p>
