We're looking for a Converting Setup Technician - Tier One to keep our converting machines running smoothly and efficiently. If you're ready to take ownership of machine performance and contribute to a high-output team, this is the role for you!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>As a Setup Technician, you'll play a critical role in minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput across our converting department. Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Starting up and preparing all converting machines </li><li>Performing quality checks and basic troubleshooting </li><li>Operating roll lifts, hoists, and electric pallet jacks </li><li>Monitoring gas tank levels and ensuring machines are stocked with correct materials </li><li>Running production when machines are operating efficiently </li><li>Assisting operators and fellow technicians to maintain smooth operations </li><li>Supporting 5S initiatives and promoting a clean, organized workspace </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced factory setting </li><li>Basic computer and math skills </li><li>Mechanical aptitude and process control experience </li><li>Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs unassisted </li><li>Willingness to work on foot for extended periods </li><li>Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred </li><li>1+ years of setup technician experience </li><li>3+ years of manufacturing experience </li><li>LOTO and electric pallet jack certification preferred </li></ul> <p>#sharp1</p>
