<p>Job Description</p> <p>Part-Time Custodial/Maintenance Staff</p> <p>Starting Rate</p> <p>$11.65/hr - commensurate with experience</p> <p>Available Hours</p> <p>Weekday mornings/afternoons/evenings and weekend availability</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work independently and efficiently multi-task </li><li>Must be capable of effective communication and taking direction </li><li>Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents </li><li>Knowledge of how to address emergency cleanups including bathroom leaks, clogged sinks/toilets, and how to properly clean up bodily fluids, as well as spills </li><li>Knowledge of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and power washers </li><li>Knowledge of how to properly and thoroughly clean locker rooms, public areas, wet mop, dust mop, clean windows, wipe tables and chairs, and organize cleaning supplies </li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds </li><li>Must be comfortable being on a ladder up to 10 feet tall </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, including duties such as mopping, dusting, trash removal, window washing, meeting set up, vacuuming, and daily general cleaning. </li><li>Assist the Maintenance Director in projects as needed at the branch </li><li>Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs. </li></ul>
