<p>The Administrative Assistant will provide timely and accurate administrative support services for our managers to enhance the quality of the overall service we provide to our clients and employees.</p> <p>Pay: $33-38/hour</p> <p>The pay listed is the hourly range for this position. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM 2025 Employee Benefits | Staff & Management</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Initiate first level of payroll and HR processing procedures. </li><li>Assist managers with pre-employment processing of employees to include ensuring proper completion of paperwork and pre-employment background checks. </li><li>Prepare, code and process check requests, expense reports and invoices. Obtain required approval signatures and submit to Accounts Payable. </li><li>Understand and create spreadsheets for financial reports. </li><li>Process invoices for payment. </li><li>Review payroll punches and work with field team to correct as necessary </li><li>General data entry duties & office administration such as answering phones, filing, copying, etc. </li><li>Provide excellent service to client and employees. </li><li>Maintain administrative records and documents pertaining to assigned accounts. </li><li>Record minutes of meetings. </li><li>Greet and help walk-in visitors in a professional manner. </li><li>Prepare reports as assigned by Management. </li><li>Handle other duties as assigned by Management. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>GED or High school diploma required </li><li>Associate degree or higher preferred </li><li>2-3 years of successful office administration experience </li><li>High energy level and enthusiastic </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office </li><li>Comfortable with having flexible hours </li><li>Experience with hourly time record-keeping procedures </li><li>Experience processing new employees </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines; self-directed </li><li>Ability to handle confidential information </li><li>Ability to handle multi-faceted jobs with completing normal duties </li></ul> <p>ABM is an EOE (M/F/Vet/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation)</p>
