<p>Job Title: Project Manager - Metals</p> <p>Location: Merrillville, IN</p> <p>Type: Direct hire</p> <p>Pay: $120K - $140K</p> <p>Industry: Steel/Metals</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Project Manager is responsible for the overall development and execution of a portfolio of metals industry projects (typically $1MM+) including profitability, quality, safety, client satisfaction, and alignment to scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary client contact and manage relationships with clients and outside consultants </li><li>Lead execution of multiple steel/metals industry projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives are met </li><li>Coordinate project delivery across disciplines and office locations </li><li>Manage project financials including budgeting/forecasting, invoicing, and cash flow to ensure profitability </li><li>Develop proposals, define scope/specifications, support contract negotiations, and manage change authorizations as needed </li><li>Track project performance and provide regular client reporting on cost, schedule, and overall progress </li><li>Support business development and client relationship growth in partnership with senior leadership </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BS in Engineering preferred </li><li>PE license and/or PMP certification a plus </li><li>Steel/Metals industry experience is REQUIRED </li><li>5 - 10 years of project management experience (consulting environment preferred) </li><li>Experience leading complex heavy industrial or manufacturing projects </li><li>Knowledge of project delivery models (A/E, AEPCM, Design-Build) </li><li>May require occasional car or air travel to other company locations or client sites </li><li>This position requires the candidate/employee to possess and maintain a valid driver's license in their state of residence and auto insurance coverage </li></ul> <p>We are unable to sponsor or transfer visas for this role, including student visas</p> <p>#LI-AD1</p>
