<p>Description</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for assisting and guiding them throughout their technology shopping journey. Your main objective is to deliver personalized and high-quality service to enhance the overall customer experience and drive sales.</p> <p>Bilingual (English and Spanish) is strongly preferred but not necessarily required.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and approachable demeanor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the store </li><li>Handle phone calls and emails with impeccable customer service </li><li>Process and approve online orders </li><li>Actively listen to customers' inquiries, concerns, and feedback, providing accurate and helpful information about products, promotions, and policies </li><li>Assist customers in establishing accounts and locating products within the store, suggesting suitable alternatives, and explaining product features and benefits </li><li>Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using the PCSCRM and point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods and verifying and documenting customer eligibility </li><li>Handle product returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies, ensuring a smooth and positive resolution for the customer </li><li>Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment by arranging merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring product displays are attractive and well-maintained </li><li>Address and resolve customer complaints or issues professionally, escalating to management when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction </li><li>Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate and consistent information to customers </li><li>Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment </li><li>Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies to management </li><li>Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance customer service skills and stay informed about new products and services </li><li>Support team activities such as preparing and registering customers for events, coordinating pickups and deliveries, and supporting partnerships </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus </li><li>Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach </li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy </li><li>Proficiency in using a computer, POS systems, and other retail software applications </li><li>Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items when necessary </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills/Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Interest in computers, internet, people and technology </li><li>Full Professional Proficiency in English & Spanish </li><li>Passion for making a positive impact in the community </li><li>Possess the ability to have grace when working under pressure </li><li>Exhibits compassion and empathy </li><li>Enjoys working with a wide variety of people in many different situations </li><li>Self-directed, self-motivated, strong analytical thinker </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>We are a growing non-profit and expect this position to drive continued growth.
