<p>Description</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Product Design Engineering position is a Mechanical Engineer that works to create sold order designs. They may also be tasked with other general work tasks not specifically covered under the Product Design Engineering job description.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Essential Functions of Position:</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical support in the form of design calculations and adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards. </li><li>Create and revise CAD drawings, and 3D models for project approval and in-house fabrication. </li><li>Work with the project manager to maintain, document, and communicate project schedules. </li><li>Communicate daily with internal and external customers. </li><li>Create Bill of Materials </li><li>Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and work with vendors and contractors. </li><li>Develop and maintain detailed documentation to track project development and design process. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>CAD and Inventor experience </li><li>Associates degree in relevant field with related work experience. </li><li>Knowledge of how mechanical systems and processes work. </li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Exceptional organizational and time management skills </li><li>Excellence in verbal and written communication and ability to work as part of a team. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors in mechanical engineering </li><li>3-5 years in a manufacturing environment completing Engineering design work </li><li>3-5 years working in Inventor or SolidWorks </li><li>Previous Epicor (ERP) Experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Required to sit, stand, and walk; for up to 8 hours per day. </li><li>Continuous use of the hand, arm, and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. </li><li>Ability to communicate professionally, in written and oral communications. </li></ul> <p>Job Title: Product Design Engineer Reports To: Product Design Engineering Manager</p> <p>Classification: Exempt Pay Range: Min $73,615- Max $126,500</p>
