<p>Aufgaben</p> <p>The mission of the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Tech Trainee - Part Time is to service and maintain Mercedes-Benz vehicles while providing an outstanding brand and customer experience through excellent preparation, attitude, and teamwork.</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. </li><li>Conduct New York State vehicle inspections. </li><li>Replace wheels and tires as needed. </li><li>Call in all warranty claims to ensure proper execution and payment for tire-related claims. </li><li>Diagnose and resolve vehicle issues under the supervision of a mentor. </li><li>Assist fellow technicians with any job or task they request help with. </li><li>Collaborate with the Team Leader/foreperson to complete in-house training. </li><li>Maintain and clean the shop and equipment as needed. </li><li>Always ensure a clean and safe work environment. </li><li>Regularly commute to and from Manhattan/New York City. </li><li>Perform test drives as requested and/or necessary. </li><li>Assist in moving vehicles throughout building. </li><li>Maintain a good work ethic. </li></ul> <p>Qualifikationen</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience. </li><li>Schedule: Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays as required. </li><li>Licensing: Valid driver's license and New York State Inspection Certification (or willingness to obtain certification). </li><li>Professionalism: Always maintain a neat and professional appearance. </li><li>Physical: Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods. </li></ul>
