As Team Lead, you will work to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect by ensuring all assigned facility areas are clean, fully stocked and organized. Your efforts help enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and assist other caregivers in providing attentive patient care.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works evenings from 3:00pm to 11:30pm with rotating full weekends and holidays.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct general training for new caregivers in floor care, wall washing, carpet cleaning and special procedures. </li><li>Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. </li><li>Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation. </li><li>Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated. </li><li>Maintain cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum one year of experience in an environmental services or housekeeping role with strong customer service skills </li><li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in coordinating multiple tasks </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership experience or experience providing work direction </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting, and reaching. </li><li>Requires continuous walking and standing on hard surfaces. </li><li>Requires regular handling and use of disinfectants and other cleaning agents and chemicals. </li><li>Light Work - Exerting 11 to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. </li></ul> <p>Personal Protective Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Salaries [which may be] shown on independent job search websites reflect various market averages and do not represent information obtained directly from The Cleveland Clinic.
