<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>EEG TECH I</p> <p>Boise and Nampa, Idaho</p> <p>SUMMARY: This is a newly created position that will perform and assist with all types of intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IOM), clinical evoked potentials and routine and emergent electroencephalograms. Takes standby calls for the EEG-Lab.</p> <p>HOURS: You will have the opportunity to rotate to the Boise Regional Medical Center, three weeks a month from Monday - Friday 7:00 - 15:30. For one week each month, you will have the opportunity to work in the Nampa Medical Center, Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 17:30. On-Call is rotated which will include call pay for call during Week nights and weekends.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma (or equivalent) required or a graduate of an Electrodiagnostic program.</p> </li><li> <p>BLS for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.</p> </li><li> <p>Registered as an Electroencephalographic Technician (REEGT) by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (ABRET) preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Two years of experience in the medical field and EEG experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>intraoperative monitoring experience preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU WILL DO:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assists the Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist II in performing Intraoperative monitoring of evoked potentials.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents physiologic, hemodynamic, anesthetic, and artifactual changes, which occur during operating procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates understanding of pertinent anatomy and proper evoked potential modalities to monitor those structures at risk.</p> </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information:</p> <p>Saint Alphonsus Health System is a faith-based ministry and not-for-profit health system serving Idaho, Oregon, and northern Nevada communities.
