<p>Position Type:Technology Support Technician Location: Central Office Reports to: Technology Director Annual Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 General Description: To ensure the effective operation of all PC hardware and peripherals and associated desktop applications, through installations, upgrades, problem resolution. Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to troubleshoot all Microsoft Windows Operating Systems </li><li>A+ Certification preferred </li><li>Familiarity with Chromebooks </li><li>Familiarity with Google Suite </li><li>Demonstrated solid interpersonal and communications skills </li><li>Application and System Training certificates </li><li>Familiarity with network architecture </li><li>Proven ability to practice good judgment under pressured situations </li><li>Must successfully pass Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI). </li></ul> <p>Performance Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Installs and configures Software on Windows, MAC and Chrome Operating Systems </li><li>Rebuilds OS and Applications </li><li>Configures email and browser applications </li><li>Installs Hardware, upgrades and configurations; installs batteries, hard drives, cmos configurations. </li><li>Installs and configures AV devices </li><li>Maintains up to date knowledge about systems software supplied by the manufacturer and other support resources for drivers, etc. </li><li>Researches problem resolution through forums, newsgroups and websites, etc. </li><li>Initializes printer setup and configuration </li><li>Provides hardware, software, application technical support to end-users to ensure proper function. </li><li>Installs upgrades, maintains and repairs computers and peripheral equipment </li><li>Makes recommendations for upgrades and new technologies </li><li>Installs and upgrades software applications system-wide </li><li>Troubleshoots technical problems on all platforms </li><li>Assists with backup and restore routines </li><li>Assists with testing hardware and software technologies to ensure compatibility with existing systems. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned by Technology Manager </li></ul> <p>We understand that our collective success depends on the robust exchange of ideas-an exchange that is best when the rich diversity of our perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences flourishes.
