<p>Description:</p> <p>The Assistant Bakery Manager plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our bakery, assisting the Bakery Manager in all aspects of daily activities. This position requires a highly organized and motivated individual with a passion for baking and a strong understanding of bakery operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, a commitment to food safety and sanitation, and the ability to train and develop team members. This role involves overseeing sales, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards. </li><li>Supervise and support bakery staff, providing coaching and training to enhance their skills and performance. </li><li>Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste through effective inventory management. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines. </li><li>Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. </li><li>Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges effectively. </li><li>Contribute to a positive and productive work environment through effective communication and leadership. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Proven experience in a bakery or food service environment. </li><li>Working knowledge of bakery operations, including baking techniques and equipment. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. </li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. </li><li>Working knowledge of inventory management principles. </li><li>Valid Driver's License. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in culinary arts or a related field. </li><li>3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a bakery setting. </li><li>Experience in training and development of bakery staff. </li></ul>
