<p>Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst</p> <p>Location: De Pere, WI</p> <p>Department: Accounting</p> <p>Reports To: Director Financial Planning & Analysis</p> <p>This is an onsite position based in De Pere, WI. Following training, this role offers the flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week, with an expectation to be onsite in the De Pere office on remaining workdays.</p> <p>Snapshot of Opportunity:</p> <p>Join our Finance team in a role focused on driving insight, improving processes, and advancing how financial operations scale with the business.</p> <p>This role is designed for a hands-on finance professional who goes beyond reporting to identify inefficiencies, solve complex problems, and implement meaningful improvements. You will play a key role in strengthening financial processes, enhancing reporting, and supporting the company's continued growth and acquisition strategy.</p> <p>Success in this position requires strong analytical capability, a bias toward action, and the ability to turn data into decisions that move the business forward.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly management reporting with a focus on clarity and actionable insights </li><li>Analyze financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement </li><li>Perform variance analysis and translate findings into specific, actionable recommendations </li><li>Support executive and board-level reporting with concise, insight-driven materials </li><li>Lead portions of the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning processes </li><li>Develop forecasts and continuously refine assumptions based on business performance and trends </li><li>Identify inefficiencies in financial and reporting processes and implement improvements </li><li>Support financial due diligence and play an active role in post-acquisition integration efforts </li><li>Work effectively across multiple systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel </li><li>Strengthen and streamline month-end close processes to improve accuracy and speed </li><li>Assist in developing consistent and scalable month-end close processes as future acquisitions are integrated </li><li>Execute ad hoc analysis and deep dives into key business issues and performance drivers </li><li>Work across financial systems and data sources to improve data quality and usability </li></ul> <p>Skills Required for Success</p> <ul> <li>Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down complex issues and implement solutions </li><li>Self-directed with a high level of ownership and accountability </li><li>Ability to turn analysis into action and influence business outcomes </li><li>Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities </li><li>Advanced Excel skills and strong technical proficiency with financial systems </li><li>High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement </li><li>Ability to clearly communicate financial insights and recommendations </li><li>Knowledge of transportation management systems and transportation industry is a plus </li></ul> <p>Education and experience requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance </li><li>3-5 years FP&A experience, including financial analysis and reporting </li><li>Transportation industry or M&A experience is a plus </li></ul> <p>Work lifestyle you will experience:</p> <ul> <li>Values-based culture committed to safety and creating a great place to work with a focus on accountability and results </li><li>Generous work/life balance with a family-first mindset </li><li>Bottom-up decision making rather than top-down </li><li>Ongoing development focused on expanding technical and analytical capabilities </li><li>Opportunities to collaborate across the organization on projects that enhance employee experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
