<p>Clinical Supervisor - College of Education</p> <p>Anderson University and the College of Education invite applications for a full-time, 10-month position as Clinical Supervisor. The university seeks candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning.</p> <p>The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for evaluating and providing essential assessment feedback on South Carolina Department of Education Standards for pre-clinical and clinical students of Anderson University. With the understanding of policies, expectations, and administrative tasks of the student teaching experience, the Clinical Supervisor will observe the effectiveness of instructional methods and evaluate teaching techniques of assigned students during their pre-clinical and clinical program. This position will coordinate visits with the teaching and administrative personnel, collaboratively assessing the clinical teacher's developing practice, providing feedback to the student with the goal of developing their professional competencies. The Clinical Supervisor will perform additional duties needed in the supervision of the clinical students or within the College of Education, as directed by Director of Field Placements and/or the Dean of the College of Education.</p> <p>A bachelor's degree in a related field and active teacher certification are required in addition to at least three years of classroom teacher experience in grades Pre-K-12. Knowledge of the public school system and educational data systems (SL&L) preferred. A professional demeaner, strong organizational skills, and dedication to the holistic development of students is essential.</p> <p>This is an on-site, in-person role that requires occasional travel.
