If you're compassionate, resilient, and detail-oriented, you'll play a vital role in ensuring quality care and making a real difference in our patients' lives.</p> <p>Unit Description:</p> <p>The Telemetry-Stepdown unit is a 21-bed (15 Telemetry/6 Stepdown) unit specializing in the care of the Telemetry and Stepdown patient. This unit is located on the third floor of the North Tower of Deaconess Henderson Hospital. This unit cares for complex medical surgical patients, cardiac patients, stroke patients, sepsis and other diagnoses including patients requiring closer monitoring. Our patient population offers a great variety of learning opportunities related to cardiac rhythms and EKG's, medication drips requiring titration, and NIH stroke scale. Teamwork is a priority on our busy unit as we strive to provide safe and high-quality care to our patients.</p> <p>Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education:</p> <ul> <li>Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider, within six months of hire. </li><li>Completion of a high school education or equivalent (GED) preferred </li><li>Successfully complete PCT classes as required by care center/unit. </li></ul> <p>Other Key Words: Entry-Level Patient Care Technician, No Experience Required, Paid Training Provided, On-the-Job Training, Career Growth, CNA, PCT, Stepdown</p>
