<p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain racetrack surfaces (dirt, turf, or synthetic) through grading, watering, harrowing, rolling, and debris removal. </li><li>Assist with preparation of the racing surface and surrounding areas for scheduled races and morning training. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance of lawns, turf, landscaped areas, paddocks, barn exteriors, and parking areas. </li><li>Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as tractors, mowers, graders, water trucks, and hand tools. </li><li>Inspect grounds and surfaces for safety hazards; promptly report or correct unsafe conditions. </li><li>Assist with irrigation systems, drainage maintenance, and seasonal weather preparation. </li><li>Support setup and breakdown for race days, special events, and emergency situations. </li><li>Follow all safety procedures, track rules, and regulatory requirements applicable to horse racing facilities. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment storage, and maintenance yards. </li><li>Perform related duties as assigned to support overall facility operations. </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to safely operate heavy and light maintenance machinery. </li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. </li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Outdoor racetrack and stable environments with exposure to noise, heavy equipment, animals, and changing weather conditions. </li><li>Fast-paced environment requiring adherence to racing schedules and safety protocols. </li></ul> <p>Target Salary: $20.00</p>
