This role involves advanced troubleshooting, architectural planning, and optimization of network systems to ensure high availability, reliability, performance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Network Design and Architecture:</p> <p>Design and implement robust network architectures to support current and future business requirements.</p> <p>Develop network diagrams, documentation, and specifications for network components.</p> <p>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical network requirements.</p> <p>Network Implementation and Deployment:</p> <p>Configure and deploy network devices such as routers, switches, load balancers, and VPN concentrators.</p> <p>Implement network security measures, including access control, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.</p> <p>Deploy and manage network monitoring and management tools to ensure proactive network health and performance monitoring.</p> <p>Network Optimization and Performance Tuning:</p> <p>Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize network configurations to enhance efficiency and throughput.</p> <p>Conduct periodic network performance assessments and capacity planning exercises.</p> <p>Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical network traffic.</p> <p>Network Troubleshooting and Support:</p> <p>Provide escalated support for complex network issues and outages, including root cause analysis and resolution.</p> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network-related problems impacting business operations.</p> <p>Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for network infrastructure.</p> <p>Security and Compliance:</p> <p>Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices to protect network assets from unauthorized access and cyber threats.</p> <p>Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.</p> <p>Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential security risks.</p> <p>Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:</p> <p>Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and standards.</p> <p>Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior network engineers and other IT staff.</p> <p>Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in networking.</p> <p>Qualifications we seek in you!</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications / Skills</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).</p> <p>Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.</p> <p>\Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, etc.</p> <p>Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.</p> <p>Hands-on experience with network hardware, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and other leading vendors.</p> <p>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</p> <p>Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams</p> <p>The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$80,000 to $100,000].
