This position will be a key contributor to the design, development, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our industrial camera systems product line and associated electro-mechanical systems and controls.</p> <p>This position will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>System design and component selection for new equipment and features as well as component obsolescence. </li><li>Assist with generating proposals, new order review/writeup, and developing customer specific drawings </li><li>Troubleshooting field and production issue related to the product line </li><li>Key contributor to the related camera system software development and testing. </li><li>Developing and delivering technical training to internal team members and external customers </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge in visible and Infrared optics design - Lenses, Filters, etc. </li><li>Knowledge of the visible, near-infared (NIR), mid-infared (MWIR), and long wave-infared (LWIR) spectrums. </li><li>Knowledge of Singlemode and Multimode fiber optic technology and equipment </li><li>Knowledge of Analog and Digital video components and design </li><li>Knowledge of networking of IP camera systems </li><li>Mechanical and Electrical design experience is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of CSA Certification in support of the product line is a plus </li></ul> <p>This position requires you to travel up to 15-25% of the time.
