We invite all individuals to consider joining our community.</p> <p>Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community, and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. This is a part-time, student employment position with no benefits.</p> <p>Working in close collaboration with the staff, this important position will provide Support the front desk operations of the Academic Advising, Coaching, and Transfer Department.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the front desk operations of the Academic Advising, Coaching, and Transfer Department;</p> </li><li> <p>Support the virtual operations of the Virtual Advising Center;</p> </li><li> <p>Provide outreach to students who may have trouble accessing resources or services at the college who contact advising;</p> </li><li> <p>Create foundational guiding materials to assist student workers who may cover desk and virtual operations;</p> </li><li> <p>Be culturally responsive to individual needs and identities;</p> </li><li> <p>Provide other assistance as requested.</p> </li></ul> <p>This list is not to be considered all-inclusive.
