Reports to accounting supervisor.</p> <p>Responsibilities & Tasks</p> <ul> <li>Prepares and posts journal entries for approximately 10 hospitals with training. </li><li>Performs analytical review of hospitals. </li><li>Prepares balance sheet reconciliations. </li><li>Serves as primary contact for hospital controllers. </li><li>Identifies and resolves problems encountered by hospital controllers. </li><li>This position sits in our Birmingham AL home office. This is not a remote position. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>License or Certification:</p> <ul> <li>CPA or desire to obtain one a plus </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting required </li><li>No previous accounting or auditing experience required </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
