We support our employees with 12 Holidays, up to 24 vacation days, 12 sick days and one personal day every year.</p> <p>For Benefits information click HERE</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Provides counseling, assessment, and treatment planning to inmate patients with substance use disorders</p> <p>within the Salt Lake County Jail.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Must possess and maintain current licensure as a Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor, Certified</p> <p>Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counselor or Licensed Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counselor.</p> <p>Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required pre-employment background</p> <p>check.</p> <p>Employees must successfully pass current "jail pass" requirement and annual complete all training</p> <p>requirements.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Conducts initial assessment and screening services </li><li>Provide psycho-educational counseling for patients with substance use disorders. </li><li>Completes intakes and additional assessments to inform treatment planning, goal setting, diagnoses, and </li></ul> <p>levels of recommended care according to various assessment tools.</p> <ul> <li>Assures quality of care by adhering to evidence based practice, therapeutic standards, and standards of </li></ul> <p>care set by the State Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) Substance Use Disorder licensure</p> <p>requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Assists in resolving identified patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies. </li><li>Maintains accurate and up to date documentation of all clinical encounters in the clinic's electronic health </li></ul> <p>record.</p> <ul> <li>Provides written and verbal communication with the courts, allied agencies, and case managers on </li></ul> <p>patient's progress in treatment.</p> <ul> <li>Accurately document services using ASAM Dimensional Analysis format, including all required elements. </li><li>Other duties as required. </li></ul>
