Our team collaborates on high-impact projects across the company - from driving quality and operational efficiency to market analysis and rider satisfaction scores - we help to safely and efficiently scale the Waymo Driver. We are data-driven, curious, open-minded, and adapt quickly to new information.</p> <p>This role follows a hybrid work schedule and you will report to the Manager of Product Data Science.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Develop a deep understanding of how users experience and interact with Waymo as they ride, leveraging qualitative feedback to develop quantitative methods for understanding and improving features </li><li>Run experimentation to measure the effectiveness of in-car features on things like user feedback & retention </li><li>Identify gaps for potential improvements & new product features </li><li>Collaborate with Eng to develop robust data foundations for measuring new feature performance </li><li>Collaborate with Product & Eng on the development of future Waymo platforms & vehicles </li></ul> <p>You have:</p> <ul> <li>Coding skills (Python & SQL) </li><li>Experience with A/B testing & Product Development </li><li>At least 3 years of industry experience </li><li>Strong Communication and Stakeholder & Management skills </li><li>Intuition for when to be scrappy and when to be vigorous </li></ul> <p>We prefer:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with physical product development </li><li>SF Bay Area based (you'll need to spend a lot of time riding Waymos) </li></ul> <p>The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
