As a Student Advisor, your work will have a lasting impact on students' confidence, direction, and future success.</p> <p>If you're ready to inspire growth, build connections, and help young people find their purpose, apply today.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Student Advising & Mentorship</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate weekly individual and group advising sessions to support students' academic, personal, and professional goals. </li><li>Provide mentorship and guidance in an experiential learning environment. </li><li>Maintain advising notes and track student progress throughout the program. </li></ul> <p>Internship Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Support students in securing and maintaining internship placements. </li><li>Conduct internship agreement and closing meetings with students and sponsors. </li><li>Build and maintain relationships with internship sites and community partners. </li><li>Track and document student internship hours and performance. </li></ul> <p>Program Development & Activities</p> <ul> <li>Plan and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and experiential learning activities. </li><li>Collaborate with program staff to enhance the student experience. </li></ul> <p>Family & Stakeholder Communication</p> <ul> <li>Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians (minimum monthly). </li><li>Document all outreach in the Parent Communication log. </li><li>Provide updates and support to ensure student success. </li></ul> <p>Documentation & Administrative Support</p> <ul> <li>Maintain student records, including portfolios, evaluations, and program documentation. </li><li>Complete semester evaluations for each student. </li><li>Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and program planning. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>Passion for mentoring young adults and supporting personal growth </li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills </li><li>Ability to build relationships with students, families, and community partners </li><li>Experience in education, youth development, or human services </li><li>Creativity and initiative in developing engaging programming </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required (Human Services, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred) </li><li>1-3 years of related experience working with youth or young adults </li><li>Valid driver's license (Class C or D) </li></ul>
