<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>This assignment will be responsible for, but not limited to, responsible for the assessment and coordination of personnel, equipment and inventory to meet daily productivity goals and timelines, ensures all standard operating procedures for the assigned area(s) are followed. A Group Leader is responsible for the directing if all associates in their assigned area of responsibility. Current standards and tools for: Safety, Quality and engineering in Schnellecke Logistics, Alabama.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Adherence to safety principles at all times </li><li>Manage KPI's in your department. </li><li>Direct and manage personnel. </li><li>Assign personnel equipment and PPE </li><li>Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned </li><li>Promote, comply and adhere to safety standards and OSHA regulations </li><li>Comply with quality standards </li><li>Submit and support suggestions / ideas for improvement / Kaizen </li><li>Adhere to 5S standards in areas of responsibility </li><li>Comply with the emergency strategies in place </li><li>Execute tasks and processes according to training manuals and instruction </li><li>Execute on time processing of material flow </li><li>A proven leader </li><li>Ensure all critical production information is communicated as needed. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED</p> <ul> <li>Timely and quality processing of materials in area of responsibility </li><li>Filing and archiving of applicable paperwork </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Immediate reporting of all deviations from the target data or damages </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Works or other applicable programs. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>This job operates in a warehouse environment, noise level may be high </li><li>The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Bending and/or reaching may be required. </li><li>Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on Shop Floor to prevent injury to self or others. </li><li>Must be able to lift 33 pound containers and place them in their proper location </li></ul>
