You will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Create, develop, and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resources. </li><li>Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and cost control. </li><li>Procure materials and services cost-effectively. </li><li>Solicit and review pricing from subcontractors and suppliers in preparation for bids and/or change orders. </li><li>Assist the project team in ensuring construction projects meet quality and safety standards and comply with relevant regulations. </li><li>Record, track, and distribute punchlist items. </li><li>Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. </li><li>Monitor and address issues as they arise to prevent delays or cost overruns. </li><li>Prepare and distribute project meeting minutes. </li><li>Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, contracts, and reports. </li><li>Create, manage, and track Requests for Information (RFIs) & Submittals. </li><li>Assist in the development of project-specific logistics, safety, permit application processes, and phasing plans. </li><li>Provide documentation of field issues and distribute the same. </li><li>Assist in the preparation of Daily Reports and Inspections. </li><li>Oversee project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and client handover. </li><li>Evaluate project performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement. </li><li>Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project management. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>3+ years experience in General Contracting or Construction Management </li><li>Ability to manage projects with a size of 5 million dollars or more </li><li>Proficiency in Procore or similar project management software </li><li>OSHA 10 certification </li><li>Skills in project engineering and construction management </li><li>Experience with Bluebeam software </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years experience preferred </li><li>Experience managing projects up to 20 million dollars </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is based onsite in New Haven with the option for remote days.
