Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will contribute to maintaining the quality and safety standards of our products.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Accurately measure and mix ingredients according to specific formulations and recipes. </li><li>Perform precise weighing and calculations to ensure correct ingredient proportions. </li><li>Follow batch cards meticulously to prepare batches according to specifications. </li><li>Operate and maintain compounding equipment and machinery. </li><li>Conduct product inspections to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards. </li><li>Provide samples for quality control testing for the lab. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment. </li><li>Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. </li><li>Document all processes and maintain accurate records of batches. </li><li>Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and quality of products. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the compounding process. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in compounding or manufacturing, preferably in the food and beverage industry. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. </li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills. </li><li>Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation. </li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy ingredients and equipment as needed. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in food science or a related field is a plus. </li><li>Experience with GMP, mixing, batch making, and production. </li><li>Familiarity with weighing, distillation, chemicals, and laboratory procedures. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is set in a manufacturing environment where you will wear a provided uniform. During the summer months, shorts are permitted due to heat. As a family-owned company, we value a 'work hard, play hard' culture, including barbeque weeks and bagel/pizza parties. You'll need to be able to interact at various levels with straightforward communication.
