From HVAC systems to general repairs, your skills will create a comfortable and well-kept living space for our residents. You will work with a supportive team and management to provide top-quality service.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Be the go-to fix-it expert - Complete maintenance requests quickly and efficiently, handling tasks like electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting. </li><li>Keep things cool (or warm!) - Maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems to keep residents comfortable year-round. </li><li>Tackle repairs big and small - Fix showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors. </li><li>Stay ahead of the game - Schedule and complete preventive maintenance to avoid issues. </li><li>Handle minor pool maintenance - Keep community pools clean and safe. </li><li>Work with contractors - Help monitor outside vendors to ensure quality work. </li><li>Maintain community curb appeal - Assist with light landscaping, trash pickup, and sidewalk cleaning. </li><li>Prepare homes for new residents - Make units move-in ready by completing necessary repairs. </li><li>Prioritize safety - Report any safety issues to your supervisor immediately and follow all safety regulations. </li><li>Take on special projects - Be ready to help with additional maintenance tasks as needed. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring to the Team:</p> <ul> <li>Skilled in repairs - Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry. </li><li>Knowledgeable about HVAC systems - Experience with HVAC maintenance. </li><li>Effective communicator - Able to interact professionally with residents, coworkers, and management. </li><li>Reliable and flexible - Available for emergency repairs and able to work weekends and evenings if needed. </li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks - Able to climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy items, distinguish colors, and hear safety alarms. </li><li>Collaborative attitude - Works well with others and contributes to a positive environment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Two years of experience in facility maintenance </li><li>Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions </li></ul> <p>We believe in investing in our team's growth. Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child. </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.?
