<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The EHR Facilitator is guided by the Physician (CPOE) Instructional Designer and by the leaders of the Department of Medicine. The EHR Facilitator supports the Department of Medicine by providing 1:1 instruction and assistance with the goal of improving Physician efficiency and overall user experience. They maintain a clear knowledge of proper Physician workflows, and pain-points throughout the clinics.</p> <p>Position: EHR Facilitator (Epic Credentialed Trainer)</p> <p>Department: EPIC</p> <p>Schedule: Full Time - Hybrid - Primarily remote (LOCAL)</p> <ul> <li>This position is funded by the Department of Medicine through June 2027. There may be opportunity beyond this funding for position integration into ongoing operations. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:</p> <p>EHR Facilitator Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the promotion of the EHR Efficiency Program to encourage participation and adoption. </li><li>Provide timely staff outreach and scheduling coordination. </li><li>Provide timely feedback on users' knowledge and skills to the CPOE Instructional Designer and Department of Medicine leaders. </li><li>Document session attendance and completion within the User Web (Signal). </li><li>Track metrics/interventions for the duration of the program. </li><li>Ability to collect, analyze, and present data to staff in a leadership role. </li><li>Provide at- the-elbow support. </li><li>Maintain the ability to work variable shifts. </li><li>Attend regularly scheduled meetings as needed. </li><li>Assist in validating new workflows as applicable. </li><li>Assist with maintaining current training materials applicable to DOM </li><li>Provide instructor led training courses to a diverse audience as needed. </li><li>Follow training curriculum as developed by the Instructional Designer as needed. </li><li>Act as a liaison between the department and the CPOE Application team to report system issues via Service Now. </li><li>Other training duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Associate's degree or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (will consider equivalent combination of formal education and experience, i.e. HS/GED plus 2 years related Healthcare experience).</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>For candidates with an Associates or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, healthcare and/or Epic experience preferred.</p> <p>For candidates with high school diploma/GED, work requires at least 2 years healthcare related experience. Epic experience preferred (Credentialing in CPOE a plus).</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Superior verbal/written English communication skills, including excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills. </li><li>Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Access, Office Suite, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers. </li><li>Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment. </li><li>Manage multiple priorities. </li><li>Critical thinking and strong problem solving skills. </li><li>Prior experience with instructor led classroom training and /or Epic preferred. </li><li>Proven ability to work with confidential information. </li><li>Ability to build rapport easily. </li><li>Open and adaptable to change. </li></ul> <p>Note: *This position is funded by the Department of Medicine through June 2027.
