<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Substitute/Substitute Teacher</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>6/20/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Great Lakes Elementary School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>08/18/2025</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>Open Until filled</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position: Kindergarten Long Term Substitute</p> <p>Posting Dates: June 20, 2025- Until Filled</p> <p>Reports To: Great Lakes Elementary Principal</p> <p>Beginning: 08/18/2025</p> <p>Ending: 11/25/2025</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Daily Sub rates applies </li><li>Must be registered with EDUStaff, LLC </li><li>Valid Michigan teaching certificate required. </li><li>Elementary (ZG) endorsements required. </li><li>Early Childhood (ZS) endorsement preferred. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and lead outdoor learning experiences that align with curriculum standards and foster </li><li>student engagement with the natural environment </li><li>Responsible for lesson planning and instruction of Kindergarten curriculum. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to differentiate instruction by creating challenging and engaging </li><li>learning opportunities for all students. </li><li>Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modifies instructional </li><li>methods to fit student needs. </li><li>Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learning of current developments in the </li><li>educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional development meetings. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. </li><li>Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles. </li><li>Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling. </li><li>Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. </li><li>Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken work; those activities where detailed or import spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. </li><li>Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound. </li><li>Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is subject to environmental conditions. </li><li>The worker should provide consistent and reliable attendance. </li></ul>
