<p>Tennis Professional- Part Time</p> <p>$22-40+ per hour based on experience.</p> <p>Arch Amenities Group, the world's leading spa, tennis, fitness and leisure firm, is seeking a part-time certified tennis teaching professional for West Michigan Community Tennis / Premier Tennis Center in Grandville, MI. The ideal candidate has experience teaching players of all skill levels.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead tennis instructor for group lessons in the 10 & under, junior development, and adult tennis programs. </li><li>Promote private lessons and develop personal private lesson clientele. </li><li>Promote tennis programs to encourage member participation and retention. </li><li>Maintains the cleanliness of the courts and surrounding areas. </li><li>Follow the court reservation system to ensure a smooth and even flow of traffic on and off courts. </li><li>Assist in the coordination of all social and competitive events including USTA sanctioned tournaments. </li><li>Implement programs for adults and juniors. </li><li>Attend staff and facility meetings. </li><li>Promote the facility and its amenities to potential members when applicable. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>College degree or comparable work experience. </li><li>Previous Tennis Lead/Supervisor experience. </li><li>Must be an experienced, strong, successful player. </li><li>Teaching certifications from PTR or RSPA. </li><li>USTA Safe Play certification. </li><li>Experience in promoting and implementing a large and varied program of events, classes, and leagues. </li><li>Effective leadership skills and a strong work ethic. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills. </li><li>Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. </li><li>Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational. </li><li>Professional manner, discretion, and appearance. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Able to show initiative and make decisions. </li><li>Proficient in appropriate computer skills and office equipment. </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods. </li><li>Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury. </li><li>This position required the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, walk, and talk. </li><li>Ability to lift 25 lbs. </li><li>Normal work hours: Varied to include nights, weekends, and holidays </li></ul> <p>Arch Amenities Group is an equal employment opportunity employer that is committed to having a diverse work force.</p>
