Teledyne is seeking an Assembler I to join our team in Miamisburg, OH. In this role, you'll assemble electronic components and subassemblies with accuracy and care, supporting critical applications in aerospace and defense.</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <ul> <li>Position and align parts in specified relationships using fixtures or holding devices. </li><li>Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as soldering, bonding, epoxy application, curing, laser welding, and pneumatic machinery operation. </li><li>Install finished assemblies into cases and perform inline testing and inspection. </li><li>Mount components like resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits; connect wires via soldering. </li><li>Adjust and trim materials to meet electrical or dimensional specifications. </li><li>Read and interpret schematics and blueprint drawings. </li><li>Cross-train on multiple programs and perform repair/rework operations. </li><li>Complete work under close supervision and follow detailed instructions. </li><li>Support intermittent overtime, including Fridays and occasional Saturdays. </li></ul> <p>What you need</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (required). </li><li>6-24 months of industrial experience or similar training (preferred). </li><li>Ability to read schematics and assembly prints; familiarity with wiring, welding, bonding, and soldering (preferred). </li><li>Ability to obtain IPC/J-STD Certification within 90 days of hire (required). </li><li>Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards (preferred). </li><li>Ability to achieve a security clearance. </li><li>Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Outlook). </li><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen due to Department of Energy requirements (required). </li></ul> <p>What we offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay and comprehensive health benefits. </li><li>4/10 work schedule (Mon-Thurs) with occasional overtime. </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, and employee assistance programs. </li><li>Disability coverage and supplemental insurance options. </li><li>401(k) with company match and employee stock purchase plan. </li><li>Paid time off, education assistance, and voluntary benefits like pet insurance. </li><li>A collaborative environment focused on precision and quality. </li></ul> <p>What happens next</p> <p>Apply online through Teledyne's careers page.
