<p>Evaluate students, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, provide direct services, and supervise a Speech Language Pathology Assistant following Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education regulations and ASHA guidelines.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication and pragmatic evaluations using formal and informal assessment tools. </li><li>Analyze assessment data to identify students' strengths and areas of need. </li><li>Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development meetings. </li><li>Provide detailed and timely evaluation reports and progress updates. </li><li>Development and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans aligned with students' IEP goals. </li><li>Deliver direct and consultative services in individual, small group, and/or classroom-based settings. </li><li>Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals using data-driven practices. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student academic and functional communication success. </li><li>Provide clinical supervision and support to the SLPA including observation, training, and performance feedback in alignment with ASHA and state licensure requirements. </li><li>Review and co-sign documentation completed by the SLPA. </li><li>Ensure compliance with the appropriate scope of practice and ethical standards. </li><li>Serve as a member of the Special Education team; attend and participate in team meetings and IEP development. </li><li>Ensure services are delivered in accordance with federal and state special education laws and regulations. </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and communication logs. </li><li>Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives related to communication and learning. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid MA licensure as an SLP. ASHA certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <p>Minimum of 2 years' experience in a school setting preferred. Experience supervising SLPAs or graduate interns is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
