<p>Summary</p> <p>Barry University Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences is seeking an Instructor of Sport and Exercise Sciences.</p> <p>The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the discipline and the departmental core; provide thesis mentoring, engage in Program, College, and University service, and engage in scholarly research. The candidate must also be responsive to the mission of Barry University.</p> <p>This position is in person</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Utilizing face-to-face, online, and blended teaching modalities to facilitate student learning in undergraduate coursework as assigned by the department chair.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with the SES Recruitment and Retention Coordinator to perform basic data collection and descriptive statistics for enrollment and retention.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify student issues and hardships early, and assist in increasing recruitment and retention numbers.</p> </li><li> <p>Engaging in program, college, and community service to retain and recruit students in the College of Health Professions and Medical Sciences.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Applicants must have a master's degree in exercise and sport sciences or a related field.
