<p>Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Kit runner</p> <p>Facility location: Chester, CT</p> <p>Summary: Performs all warehousing functions required to fulfill warehousing and distribution operations at a facility. Must be able to continuously walk throughout the warehouse floor (can be up to 8 miles of walking per shift)</p> <ul> <li>Primary task is to deliver product & materials to the various company departments. </li><li>Secondary duties are to assist as needed with other Warehouse tasks. </li><li>This is a physically demanding position requiring extensive lifting, pushing, pulling, stacking, walking, and bending. </li><li>Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently as an integral part of the larger Warehouse team. </li><li>Applies simple and some intermediate skills to perform functions in the execution of existing procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to the position within assigned area. </li><li>Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels. </li><li>Able to prioritize work according to established guidelines. </li><li>Adapts to changing priorities to meet customer demands. </li><li>Simple computer literacy. </li><li>Receives and processes delivery and storage of all parts from received from divisional receipts, vendor receipts, subcontractor receipts, and small package receipts. </li><li>Assist in maintaining the proper storage of parts. </li><li>Uses RF Scanner device (barcode reader) to pull products from warehouse. </li><li>Uses proper packing materials and methods to move parts. </li><li>Transports kits to the assembly area as directed. </li><li>Maintains kit holding area. </li><li>Works with scales, calculators, and other devices to make sure production counts are accurate. </li><li>Operates WAVE and JLG lifts, electrical jacks, and other equipment used to move product. </li><li>May be trained to use forklift. </li></ul>
