Our products stopped an average of 26,000 intoxicated start-ups each month and 29 million in the last decade.</p> <p>We are hiring an onsite Engineering Senior Test Technician in Des Moines, IA.</p> <p>As an Intoxalock Engineering Senior Test Technician, you will develop, execute and support product verification and validation plans that keep impaired drivers off the road and enable drivers to get responsibly back behind the wheel. As part of a high-performing technical team, your work will be a critical part of innovative new product development and regulatory compliance certification.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Engineering Sr Test Technician is responsible for planning, defining, coordinating, executing, analysis, and reporting for a product or system.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify and validate that changes meet safety, compliance and quality expectations of business requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in dynamic environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Investigate complex electromechanical and software system issues by to aid in root cause.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with electrical, mechanical engineering, customer support, manufacturing and operations to deliver amazing service.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel to test sites to work face to face with the local Test Engineering teams at key points in the product development cycle.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify strategies and implement solutions for electronic instrumentation, automation and data collection tools.</p> </li><li> <p>All other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent required.</p> </li><li> <p>4+ years of product development engineering experience or electrical engineering/technician role.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical expertise relating to design/diagnostics of automotive, aeronautical or marine, mechanical and electrical systems</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel to manufacturing and test sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license.</p> </li></ol> <p>Why work for us?</p> <p>Check out this list of a few of the many good reasons why we are a Top Workplace:</p> <ul> <li>Salary range is $62,000-$80,000 depending on experience + potential 5% annual bonus incentive + 401(k) + benefits. </li><li>We are the nation's largest interlock provider, and our Mission is to help people live and drive responsibly. </li><li>Mindr won the 2023 Top Workplace Award locally and nationally-and 2024 Best Place for Working Parents Award. </li><li>Growth Oriented- 7 years of over 10%+ growth annually.
