This role is responsible for leading multiple shifts of supervisors and front-line team members to ensure aircraft cabin services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with airline, regulatory, and company standards. In this fast-paced, flight-driven operation, the Operations Manager oversees real-time staffing, schedule execution, and operational adjustments across days, afternoons, and overnights in response to changing flight activity. The role requires a visible leader who can balance operational discipline with strong people leadership, maintain consistent communication with airline partners, and drive performance outcomes related to safety, attendance, productivity, quality, and on-time service in a highly regulated airport environment.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>An associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Must gave a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a service/customer-oriented environment </li><li>Experience in cost estimating/pricing work required </li><li>Must have working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures. </li><li>Must be able to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Previous management experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Overall:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age or older. </li><li>Must work schedule as assigned. </li><li>Valid Driver License </li><li>Monitor and maintain staffing levels with the assistance of the local Human Resources Department. </li><li>Ensure that future schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) </li><li>Ensure all call-offs are covered. </li><li>Manage daily schedules and accommodate increased/decreased client staffing requests. </li><li>Manage employee lunches and breaks. </li><li>Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy </li><li>Communicate with Client representatives on a frequent basis regarding operations. </li><li>Maintain daily shift report for managers. </li><li>Perform basic administrative and payroll functions (as required). </li><li>Maintain communication with other Shift Managers/Supervisors to maintain optimum staffing levels. </li><li>Effectively coach, counsel and discipline employees. </li><li>Work with Safety Quality Manager to ensure the safety, security, and quality of the operation. </li><li>Set positive, professional example for workforce. </li><li>Ensure supervisor and front-line employee compliance with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, by our Clients, and by regulatory authorities. </li><li>Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. </li><li>Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. </li><li>Miscellaneous duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee Supervisors and Front-Line employees </li></ul> <p>General Company Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Employee must comply with the Company's management grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times. </li><li>Employee must comply with and enforce all guidelines and policies set forth in the ABM Industries Employee Handbook.
