<p>What to Expect</p> <p>As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of industrial facilities equipment. This role involves hands-on work across a wide range of systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical. You will be expected to perform both preventative and emergency maintenance, diagnose and repair complex systems, and ensure the overall safety and reliability of the facility's infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities that keep the facility running smoothly.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain, operate, diagnose, and repair critical industrial facilities equipment, such as boilers, pumps, chillers, HVAC systems, air compressors, cryogenic and chemical systems, ensuring continuous and efficient operation</p> </li><li> <p>Perform thorough preventative and corrective maintenance on various facilities systems to minimize and avoid equipment downtime</p> </li><li> <p>Install, repair, and upgrade infrastructure equipment, including ductwork, piping, and electrical wiring, ensuring all installations meet safety and operational standards</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, identifying potential issues and performing necessary repairs to prevent system failures</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and oversee subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with facility standards and safety protocols</p> </li><li> <p>Support the continuous improvement of facility operations by proactively identifying opportunities for enhancing system performance and reliability</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance within an industrial or commercial setting</p> </li><li> <p>Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite specifically Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint</p> </li><li> <p>Extensive training in safety practices, with the ability to assess and communicate necessary procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, piping, and instrumentation diagrams</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated technical ability in the maintenance of industrial HVAC and plumbing systems</p> </li></ul> <p>Tesla is an Equal Opportunity employer.
